How verification works

What does verified mean?

We checked the official source and confirmed that the information shown on FreeCredits matched the source at the time of review. Every offer page shows the date of that check and links to the exact page we looked at.

What verification does not mean

It does not guarantee that:

• every user qualifies
• the company won’t change the offer
• regional restrictions don’t apply
• the offer won’t expire unexpectedly

Always check the official terms before claiming.

Freshness

A verification is only as good as its date, so two dates are shown: the day the official terms were last read in full, and the day our automatic check last re-read the page.

A verification goes stale after 30 days. While the daily check keeps confirming that the amount, the duration and the conditions on the official page have not changed, that clock is paused — telling you an actively monitored offer “may be outdated” would not be true. It is only paused, never stopped: after 90 days the warning appears regardless, because a crawler cannot read eligibility rules, a new footnote or a changed terms page. Sources that block automation get no pause at all, since nothing is watching them.

Where the numbers come from

Amounts, durations and conditions are copied from the official page, never estimated. If the official page does not state something (for example whether a card is required for a free plan) we say so in the verification notes rather than guessing.
