What you get
Google Cloud gives new customers a $300 welcome credit to spend over 90 days across most Google Cloud services. After the trial you must manually upgrade to a paid billing account to keep using resources; if you do not, the trial account is closed and resources are stopped, so there is no surprise charge. Separately, Google Cloud has an always-free tier (for example one e2-micro VM per month in select US regions and 1 TiB of BigQuery querying per month).
Who qualifies
New customers who have never been a paying user of Google Cloud, Google Maps Platform or Firebase and have not previously signed up for the free trial.
Requirements
- New Google Cloud customers only
- Credit card or other payment method for identity verification (authorization hold, not a charge)
- Credits must be used within 90 days
- Manual upgrade to a paid account to continue after the trial
